Gablofen
Gablofen is a product prescribed to treat severe spasticity due to several causes, such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, or spinal cord injuries. It is given as an injection that is delivered directly into the spinal cord using a pump. Potential side effects may include headaches, drowsiness, and low muscle tone.
Gablofen® (baclofen) is a prescription medication approved to treat spasticity. It is administered through a pump that delivers the medication directly into the spinal cord. This medicine is approved to treat severe spasticity due to various causes, such as:
- Multiple sclerosis (MS)
- Spinal cord injuries or diseases
- Cerebral palsy.

Just like any medicine, Gablofen may cause side effects. However, not everyone who receives the drug will experience problems. Some people tolerate it quite well.
If reactions do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
