Gabapentin Enacarbil Side Effects

If you are using gabapentin enacarbil, it's important to be aware of potential side effects. Although most people tolerate this medication well, reactions may include things like dizziness, drowsiness, and nausea. In rare cases, potentially serious side effects (such as difficulty breathing) can also occur. Serious Side Effects of Gabapentin Enacarbil

Some gabapentin enacarbil side effects are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
 
  • Depression
  • Hostility
  • Suicidal thoughts or actions
  • Severe dizziness, confusion, or coordination problems that do not improve with time as you become accustomed to the medication
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, such as:
     
    • An unexplained rash
    • Hives
    • Itching
    • Swelling of the mouth or throat
    • Wheezing
    • Difficulty breathing.
