Medications similar to fluvastatin can increase the risk of bleeding when combined with warfarin. When starting fluvastatin therapy or changing the fluvastatin dosage, your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your INR more closely and make any necessary adjustments. An INR is a test that measures how quickly your blood clots.
