Flurbiprofen 2.5 mL

If you have an upcoming eye surgery, your healthcare provider may prescribe flurbiprofen ophthalmic (Ocufen®). This medicine comes in the form of a liquid eye drop and is approved for use in adults only.
 
This product is available in one strength: 0.03% solution, available in a 2.5-mL bottle. Flurbiprofen ophthalmic dosing guidelines call for 1 drop to be applied into the eye every 30 minutes, starting 2 hours before the eye surgery.
 
As a type of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), flurbiprofen ophthalmic is used to help prevent the pupil from constricting (becoming smaller) during eye surgery.
