Fluocinonide cream should be stored at room temperature. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children and pets.
At this time, the 0.05% products (Lidex), but not the 0.1% cream (Vanos), are available in generic form (click Generic Lidex and Generic Vanos for more information).
Brand-name Lidex products were made by Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation, but are no longer available. Generic versions are still available and are made by various manufacturers. Vanos is made by Contract Pharmaceuticals Limited for Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation.
This medication comes in the following strengths:
- Fluocinonide 0.05% cream
- Fluocinonide 0.05% emollient cream
- Fluocinonide 0.1% cream.
