Who Should Not Take This Medicine?

You should not take fluconazole if you are:
 
  • Allergic to fluconazole, Diflucan, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Taking cisapride (Propulsid®), a medication that is no longer marketed but is available to people in special situations.
