Drug Interactions With FluconazoleA number of medicines may cause drug interactions with fluconazole, including warfarin, rifabutin, cisapride, and phenytoin. In general, people should also avoid taking fluconazole with pimozide, quinine, tetrabenazine. These negative reactions could increase your risk for developing a dangerous irregular heart rhythm or other serious side effects. In some cases, your healthcare provider may adjust the dosages of your medications.
