Fexofenadine Oral

People with seasonal
allergies may benefit from fexofenadine (Allegra®), a nonprescription antihistamine product. The medication has been shown to help relieve common allergy symptoms, such as itchy eyes or throat, runny nose, and sneezing.

There are several different forms of fexofenadine: oral solution, tablets, and orally disintegrating tablets. Nonprescription fexofenadine oral suspension can be used in children as young as two years old, while the regular tablets and orally disintegrating tablets are typically used in adults and older children. The medicine is typically taken once or twice a day.

You should talk to your healthcare provider before taking this medication if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, have kidney disease, are over the age of 65, or are breastfeeding.
