Fexofenadine (Allegra®) is a prescription drug commonly used for treating seasonal allergy symptoms, such as itchy nose or throat, sneezing, and runny nose. It is also approved to treat chronic hives. Fexofenadine come in several different forms (including tablets, orally disintegrating tablets, and oral suspension) and is typically taken once or twice a day. You should talk to your healthcare provider before using this antihistamine product if you are pregnant, are currently breastfeeding, or have kidney disease.
