Side Effects of Fexofenadine and Pseudoephedrine: An Introduction
As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with
fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine (
Allegra-D®). However, not everyone who takes medication will have side effects. In fact, most people tolerate
fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine well. When side effects do occur, they are generally minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider. In previous research studies, up to 3.7 percent of people stopped taking fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine because of side effects.

Common Fexofenadine and Pseudoephedrine Side Effects
Fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine has been studied in clinical trials. In these studies, side effects are always documented and compared to those that occur in a similar group of people not taking the medicine. This way, it is possible to see what side effects occur, how often they appear, and how they compare to the group not taking the medicine.
