Side Effects of Fexofenadine and Pseudoephedrine

Rare Side Effects of Fexofenadine and Pseudoephedrine

There are a number of other side effects seen in less than 1 percent of people taking fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine or Allegra® (fexofenadine). For these side effects, it is difficult to tell whether they are actually caused by the medicine itself or something else.

Some of these rare but possible side effects include, but are not limited to:

  • Allergic reaction
  • Unexplained rash
  • Swelling of the lips, mouth, or throat
  • Difficulty breathing.

Fexofenadine and Pseudoephedrine Side Effects: Summary

It is possible that you may experience some of these fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine side effects or none at all. Unfortunately, there is no way for your healthcare provider to know beforehand if you will have side effects from a medicine that you have never tried. Therefore, make sure to let your healthcare provider know if you develop any side effects or anything that "just does not seem right." While it may not be a fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine side effect, your healthcare provider will be able to diagnose and treat the problem.
