Ezetimibe

When and How Do I Take It?

Some general considerations for when and how to take ezetimibe include the following:

  • The medication comes in tablet form and is taken once a day. You should take your dose with a glass of water, with or without food.

  • You can take ezetimibe in the morning or at night. However, it should be taken at the same time each day to maintain an even level in your blood.

  • For ezetimibe to work properly, you have to take it as prescribed. Ezetimibe will not work if you stop taking it.

Dosing Guidelines for Ezetimibe
