Esomeprazole (Nexium®) is a medication licensed to treat several conditions, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), H. pylori infections, and erosive esophagitis. Esomeprazole comes in the form of a capsule and powder, and is typically taken once a day. A few of the common side effects seen with this drug include diarrhea, nausea, and headaches.
