Esomeprazole Dosage to Treat H. Pylori Infection

Helicobacter pylori (
H. pylori) bacteria involves using two other drugs in conjunction with
esomeprazole. This therapy is called "triple therapy." Triple therapy to kill
H. pylori usually involves taking esomeprazole 40 mg once a day, plus
amoxicillin 1,000 mg (twice daily) and
clarithromycin 500 mg (twice daily). All three medications are normally taken for 10 days.
Esomeprazole Dosage for Pathological Hypersecretory Conditions
The recommended esomeprazole dosage for pathological hypersecretory conditions (such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome) is 40 mg twice daily.
