Ecallantide Side Effects

Diarrhea, nausea, and headaches are some of the most commonly reported side effects of ecallantide. In most cases, side effects of this drug tend to be minor and easy to treat. However, there are some reactions, such as chest tightness and fainting, that are potentially serious and should be reported to your healthcare provider right away.

Just like any medicine, ecallantide (Kalbitor®) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who receives the drug will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
