Tri-Legest Fe Birth Control
If you are a woman seeking to prevent pregnancy, your healthcare provider may recommend an oral contraceptive (birth control pill) called Tri-Legest® Fe (norethindrone/ethinyl estradiol). In addition to providing birth control, this medication is approved to treat acne in women who desire contraception.
Tri-Legest is taken once a day, preferably at the same time each day. Once you finish a pack, start a new one right away. During the last seven days of the pack, you will probably start your period.
Women with liver disease, high cholesterol, or a history of blood clots should make sure their healthcare provider has this information before taking Tri-Legest.
