Mometasone Furoate Cream Information

Mometasone furoate lotion (Elocon®) is approved for treating certain skin conditions that cause inflammation and itching, such as dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis. The prescription cream is applied to the affected areas of the skin once daily.
 
Most people tolerate this medication well. When side effects do occur, they are generally mild and are easily treated. Some of the possible side effects include skin irritation, such as burning, itching, or tingling.
 
Although most people do not have any problems while using this medicine, mometasone furoate cream is not suitable for everyone.
