Doxylamine and Pyridoxine Drug Information

Doxylamine and pyridoxine (Diclegis®) is a prescription drug used to manage nausea and vomiting ("morning sickness") that can occur in some pregnant women. This combination product contains both an antihistamine and vitamin B6, and is used when diet changes and other nonmedicine methods are unsuccessful at controlling these symptoms.

This medicine comes in the form of tablets that are taken one to four times a day. Your dosage will be determined based on how you respond to the medication.

Because not everyone can use this drug, it's important to review the safety information before starting treatment with doxylamine and pyridoxine. Safety warnings apply to women who have a medical history of asthma, bladder problems, allergies, or certain other medical issues.
