Verdeso®) is a medication used to treat several different skin conditions, including
atopic dermatitis, poison ivy, and
psoriasis. As a corticosteroid drug, desonide works by suppressing an overactive immune system and reducing inflammation. It is approved for use in adults and children as young as three months old.
To ensure your safety with desonide, make sure your healthcare provider has up-to-date information on any other medications you are taking, including vitamins and supplements, as well as any
allergies you may have, including to medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives. In addition, if you are a woman, let your healthcare provider know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
