Cutivate Medication Information

Available in several forms, Cutivate® (topical fluticasone propionate) is a prescription medicine approved for the treatment of various skin conditions. Specifically, the lotion form is approved to treat atopic dermatitis, while the other two forms (cream and ointment) are approved to treat a wide variety of skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis.
 
Your specific dosage will depend on which product you are using and the type and severity of your skin condition. When using Cutivate, apply a thin layer of the medicine on the affected areas of the skin once or twice daily. Possible side effects may include skin irritation, such as burning, itching, and dryness.
