Azelastine/Fluticasone Nasal Spray Information

If you suffer from seasonal allergies, your healthcare provider may recommend a medication called azelastine/fluticasone nasal spray (DymistaTM). This prescription nasal spray is used twice daily to help relieve nasal allergy symptoms, such as sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion.
 
This product contains two active ingredients: fluticasone (a steroid) and azelastine (an antihistamine). Although most people tolerate the medicine well, side effects are possible and may include headaches, nosebleeds, and a distorted sense of taste.
