Precautions and Warnings With Dinoprostone

Dinoprostone may not be safe for women who have had vaginal bleeding during their pregnancy or those who have had a C-section in the past. Other precautions to be aware of when receiving dinoprostone include warnings of potential blood clotting problems, an amniotic fluid embolism, or other potentially serious complications. To minimize the risk for these problems, your healthcare provider will need your complete medical history.
