Drug Interactions With Dexlansoprazole

There are several medications that dexlansoprazole can interact with, including digoxin, ampicillin, iron, and ketoconazole. Dexlansoprazole may decrease the absorption of these various medications into the body, perhaps making them less effective. Ampicillin
Dexlansoprazole may decrease the absorption of ampicillin into the body, perhaps making it less effective. Check with your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
 
Atazanavir
Dexlansoprazole may decrease the absorption of atazanavir into the body, making it less effective. For this reason, you should not take dexlansoprazole if you are taking atazanavir.
 
Digoxin
Dexlansoprazole may decrease the absorption of digoxin into the body. Your healthcare provider may decide to monitor your digoxin levels (using a simple blood test), especially when you start or stop taking dexlansoprazole.
