There is only one standard recommended dose of cetirizine and pseudoephedrine. As is always the case, do not adjust your dose unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.

What If I Take an Overdose of Cetirizine and Pseudoephedrine?

People who take too much of this drug may have overdose symptoms that include:
 
  • Drowsiness
  • A rapid heart rate (tachycardia)
  • Headaches
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Sweating
  • Thirst
  • Feelings of a forcefully or rapidly beating heart (known as heart palpitations)
  • Muscle weakness or tension
  • Anxiety
  • Restlessness or insomnia
  • Delusions, hallucinations, or psychotic behavior
  • An irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmias)
  • Seizures
  • Coma.
     
If you happen to overdose on cetirizine and pseudoephedrine, seek immediate medical attention.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Cetirizine and Pseudoephedrine?

If you forget to take your cetirizine and pseudoephedrine dose, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
