Bepotastine can be used to treat eye allergies in children as young as two years old. It can be tricky to give eye drops to a young child, so be sure to ask your child's healthcare provider for any tips or tricks to help make the process go more smoothly.
On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend this medication for something other than eye allergies (this would be known as an "off-label" use). At this time, using bepotastine to treat eye allergy symptoms other than itching or to treat nasal allergies would be off-label uses.
