Drug Interactions With Bepotastine

Are There Bepotastine Drug Interactions to Be Aware Of?

Bepotastine besilate (Bepreve™) is a prescription eye drop approved for the treatment of eye allergies (known medically as allergic conjunctivitis). Significant drug interactions between bepotastine and other medications are unlikely to occur.

As with most eye drops, little of the medication actually reaches the bloodstream and the rest of the body. As a result, bepotastine is unlikely to affect other medications, and other medications are unlikely to react with bepotastine.

It is possible that there are currently unknown drug interactions with bepotastine that may be discovered at a later date. Therefore, it is always a good idea to include bepotastine in your list of medications when checking for any interactions. Also, check with your healthcare provider about any possible interactions that may apply to your particular situation.
