Belatacept Side Effects

Some of the most commonly reported side effects of belatacept include swelling, urinary tract infections, and diarrhea. Although reactions such as these are typically minor, there are some potentially serious complications that should be treated right away. Notify your healthcare provider immediately if you develop a fever, swollen glands, or any signs of an infection.

An Introduction to Side Effects of Belatacept

Just like any medicine, belatacept (NULOJIX®) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
