Azelastine/Fluticasone Nasal Spray Side Effects
It is possible for azelastine/fluticasone nasal spray to cause serious side effects in some people, so contact your healthcare provider right away if you develop problems like severe nosebleeds, unusual drowsiness, or unexplained stretch marks. Clinical studies, however, have shown that most reactions to this drug tend to be minor and may include nosebleeds, headaches, and a distorted sense of taste.
An Introduction to Side Effects of Azelastine/Fluticasone Nasal SprayAs with any medicine, azelastine/fluticasone nasal spray (Dymista™) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the drug will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.

Serious Azelastine/Fluticasone Nasal Spray Side EffectsSome side effects of azelastine/fluticasone nasal spray are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
- Signs of steroid toxicity, such as:
- Changes in your menstrual period
- Acne-like skin problems
- Weight gain in the abdomen (stomach), face, neck, or upper back
- Unexplained stretch marks on the skin
- Frequent infections or infections that do not go away
- Frequent, severe nosebleeds
- Glaucoma or cataracts
- Slow growth in children
- Unusual drowsiness
- Signs of an allergic reaction, such as:
- An unexplained rash
- Difficulty breathing
- Unexplained swelling.
