Were you looking for information about
Atarax? Aderax is a common misspelling of Atarax.

The prescription drug Atarax® (hydroxyzine hydrochloride) is used for treating several different conditions, including anxiety and itching. It is also commonly used in combination with opioid pain relievers (such as morphine) to improve the effectiveness of the pain medicine.

Atarax comes in tablet and syrup form, and is only available as a generic at this time. Common side effects that have been reported with this medication include headaches, dry mouth, and drowsiness. Fortunately, most people respond well to the drug and do not experience problems, or they are easily treated.
