Aranelle

Aranelle is a type of combined oral contraceptive; it is used to prevent pregnancy. This birth control pill contains both an estrogen and a progestin. It is important to take Aranelle every day (at the same time each day), as missing doses increases your risk of pregnancy. Potential side effects of Aranelle include headaches, nausea, and breakthrough bleeding.

What Is Aranelle?

Aranelle™ (norethindrone/ethinyl estradiol) is a prescription birth control pill (technically known as an oral contraceptive). It is a generic version of Tri-Norinyl^® and is also equivalent to Leena^®.

Side Effects of Aranelle

As with any medicine, Aranelle can cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the contraceptive will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.

Common side effects of Aranelle include, but are not limited to:

Breakthrough bleeding or spotting (between periods)
Headaches
Nausea, with or without vomiting
Breast tenderness and swelling.
