Aralen Drug Interactions

Several products are known to interact with Aralen, including ampicillin, antacids, and codeine. Some of these reactions can alter the amount of the medications in the blood, possibly making them less effective or increasing your risk for side effects. An Overview of Interactions With Aralen

Aralen® (chloroquine phosphate) is a prescription medication licensed to prevent and to treat malaria infections. It is also used to treat a parasite infection called amebiasis. Aralen may react with many other medications.

    • Albendazole (Albenza®)
    • Mebendazole (Vermox®)
