Antivert Uses

Can Children Use It?

Antivert is approved for use in children as young as 12 years old. It is not approved for use in younger children. Your child's healthcare provider can recommend a better treatment option for motion sickness or vertigo for your child.

Off-Label Uses for Antivert

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Antivert for something other than the approved uses (this would be known as an "off-label" use). Using Antivert to treat nausea and vomiting due to other causes (such as morning sickness) is considered an off-label use (see Meclizine and Pregnancy for more information about using Antivert during pregnancy).
