Antivert Drug Interactions

When Antivert is taken with certain medications (such as anticholinergic drugs, other medications that cause drowsiness, or phenothiazine medications), drug interactions may occur. These interactions could increase your risk of developing certain side effects, such as dry mouth, constipation, dry eyes, or difficulty passing urine. To avoid drug interactions with Antivert, make sure to talk to your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking.

An Overview of Drug Interactions With Antivert

Antivert® (meclizine hydrochloride) can potentially interact with a number of other medications. Some of the medicines that may lead to drug interactions with Antivert include (but are not limited to):
 
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Acetylcholinesterase inhibitor medications, including:

 

 

  • Other medications that cause drowsiness, including, but not limited to:

 

 

  • Other medications with anticholinergic properties, such as:

 

 

  • Phenothiazine medications, including:
