everolimus) was generally well tolerated. However, adverse reactions were reported in some cases. For example, some people taking Afinitor experienced side effects such as:
Serious reactions also occurred in these trials. Some of these potentially serious problems included:
- Chest pain
- Blurred vision
- Difficulty breathing.
If you develop any side effects with Afinitor during treatment, or if something "just doesn't seem right," let your healthcare provider know right away.
