Afinitor Drug Interactions

Pimecrolimus
Taking Afinitor with pimecrolimus may increase your risk for certain Afinitor side effects, including the risk for infections. In general, it is recommended that these medicines not be used together.
 
Sipuleucel-T
Sipuleucel-T works by stimulating the immune system, and Afinitor is considered an immunosuppressant (it suppresses the immune system). Therefore, Afinitor could potentially decrease the effectiveness of sipuleucel-T. Talk with your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
