- A sunburn
- Any allergies, including allergies to medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives.
Also, let your healthcare provider know if you are:
- Pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant (see Differin and Pregnancy)
- Breastfeeding (see Differin and Breastfeeding).
Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking, including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

Adapalene Dosing InformationThis medication comes in two different strengths and three different formulations (cream, gel, or lotion). You and your healthcare provider will choose the best product for you, depending on the severity of your acne, your skin type, and personal preferences. As always, do not adjust your dose unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.
